First off, thanks for taking the time to read my statement. I love baseball. My hope and dream is to play baseball in college and beyond. But my goal for college would be to play 4 years at a high level and help my team compete for championships every year. Personal goals for college would be to lead the team in hitting and be dominate in the outfield.
I feel like I am a team player. I would never ask a fellow teammate to work harder if I didn't push myself also. I am a student of the game. I constantly try to improve in every aspect of baseball.
I think what makes me different in sports from other recruits is my work ethic. I don't just use practice with my HS team as the only time I work. I go to our local hitting facility every night to either hit off the tee, or have someone soft toss and throw to me. I work with a pitching coach every week to improve my pitching. I don't think you will find anyone that will out work me.
I feel like my character is good. My dad often reminds me to win with class and lose with class because you never know who is watching.
