Jesse Tanner '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jesse Tanner, I am from Laquey Missouri. I will graduate from Laquey High School in May of 2025. I have worked hard my entire life to be the best baseball player I can possibly be.  I started playing baseball at 5 years old and have played ever since.  I play any position.  My favorite positions are 2nd base, short stop and pitcher.  On my team, I generally am the Starting Varsity Second base or varsity pitcher.   My dad has coached me and taught me how to play baseball since I could throw a ball.  He has taught me everything he knows to help me accomplish my dream of being a professional baseball player.  He has taught me the importance of having good character on and off the field.  I work hard on my schoolwork and try to the best student I can.  I am respectful of my parents, teachers, coaches and teammates.  I work hard on my appearance and hygiene.  My goal is to go to college and become Physical Education Teacher as well as becoming a Professional Baseball Player.  I would like to be able to teach others my love of sports and maybe give back to my community one day.  I also play basketball and soccer.  I am the varsity Goalkeeper for Soccer; we took forth in 2023.  I am the Varsity Power Forward in Basketball.
