I am a born leader who naturally acknowledges and considers the ideas of my peers--whether it be my school tennis team or other extra curricular activity. I am a firm believer of the trait of sportsmanship and consistently prioritize and utilize it at any opportunistic moment. I have been participating in the game of tennis for more than 5 years and have exponentially improved my fundamentals, I.Q., and general physique of the game. I believe two prime factors play a protruding effect when it comes to differentiating myself from my fellow peers. I have been dedicating 20+ hours a week, both--for the love of the game and to catch up with my tennis peers, most of whom have had years of experience. Furthermore, to satisfy my lost years, I participated in IMG Academy's tennis program over the winter break of 2013-2014 and shifted to one of the most respected tennis academies in Missouri---one that would have not even accepted me a few months prior. While 20+ hours of tennis a week has been an appreciable influence to my tennis skills, it has also greatly impacted my trait of dedication---one that I use in the academic field as well. Specifically, I am enrolled in the most rigorous curriculum my school has to offer and solely due to my dedication acquired from tennis, I am successful in all of my advanced courses. My greatest goal is to enroll in an institution which situates an equal balance between education and athletics, so maintaining a solid GPA and further improving my skills of tennis render as my top two priorities.
