January 2017Personal Statement
I am a versatile pitcher for the Andrew County Kings competitive baseball team. Not only am I a starter, but I have also relieved and closed many games as well. I live in Maysville, Missouri and will graduate in 2019. I've taken pitching lessons since I was 10 years old and am always looking for ways to improve. I am a hard worker on and off the field. My coaches will tell you I always give 110%, I'm a team player, and I'm a leader on the field. There's nothing I would love more than to be a student-athlete in college.
I would like to attend a college where academics are a priority as well as having a competitive atmosphere. I would like to find a team where I can make a great impact and work with the coaching staff to improve my skills. I have always set high goals for myself and teammates, so I would like to find a college team with the same drive that I have. As Derek Jeter said, "There may be people who have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do." That is something I live by.
