Scott Stansbury, ...Personal Statement
I have played baseball from as early in my life as I can remember. My athletic goals are to continue playing baseball after high school, helping my team and my college to excel in whatever capacity I am needed. Academically my goal is to get my Bachelor's Degree and ultimately a job with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. I want to have a job where my work will give back to the community and help others. I believe what makes me different from other recruits is my work ethic, both on the field and off. Coaches will never find one who will work harder than me, listen and respond to coaching better, and will give every ounce of drive to helping his team succeed. I prefer the fast-paced action you get at Shortstop, but honestly you can plug me in anywhere you need me and I will produce results for you. With a partial athletic/academic scholarship I will be able to pursue both of my passions, baseball and a college degree where I can represent my school as well as obtain a means of serving my community.
