Trevin Stringer '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball since I was 4 years old, and in my time as a baseball player I have grown in leadership, skills on the field, and character on and off the field. I am the player that can get serious when needed, and be loose and have fun when it is appropriate. Off of the field, I am a young man who achieves academic goals and to strives to be a good christian. I am a good student in school, maintaining mostly A's and a few B's. As I have gotten older, I have gotten a better work ethic on and off of the field and I look to continue that growth in the future. On the field, I am a pitcher for the majority of the time and that is what I focus on in the off-season and in practice. I am looking to continue my baseball career after high school at the collegiate level and look to do that at the highest level my ability and work will take me. 

After my first season at the varsity level of baseball, I can say that I have truly loved the game my whole life, but never as much as I did this year. The bond that teammates form in the dugout, on the field, and anywhere else is a brotherly bond. I fight for my brothers and do it with a fire in my heart. The passion I have for this game has only grown since the beginning of this season, and the beginning of my high school career. As a player I look to bring up my teammates and to encourage them to fight with grit, no matter the score posted on the board, and no matter the situation. I encourage others to simply do their job, "nothing too much" is a phrase that comes out of my mouth several times a game, because we never need anything too much, we just need each individual to do their job, and get to the next.
