Jonathon (JT) Roy '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was 5, and every single day since, I have tried to better myself and have always given it my all. Every day I wake up and know that I want to play baseball after high school and travel as far as I can go within the sport.  While I have excelled as a catcher and played first base, I recently started focusing on enhancing my pitching skills.  Although,  I am always open to working on new positions. I am a team leader and work to better my teammates and myself by always setting an example with a good personality and good character.

I was fortunate enough to be on a very competitive and successful club/travel baseball team. I started my high school career this Spring (2020) and made the Reserve team.  I am very fortunate to be surrounded by energized coaches and teammates with great personalities who always push me. I have always been a hard worker, in school, on the field, and in all aspects life.  I average close to a 4.0 GPA, and I believe that I have the talent and work ethic to make and enhance a college program. Also, I am always looking for the right fit for both sides involved. As a competitor and three-sport athlete, I believe I have what it takes to be a part of and excel in the right program and thrive on the field and academically.
