My name is Kade Bredemeier, and I am a senior at Falls City High School in Falls City, Nebraska. I am hoping to play baseball at the collegiate level and major in physical therapy or education. I received All-State Honorable Mention honors from the Omaha World Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star for my freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons in baseball. During my sophomore year, I was one of the leaders in the state in average (.405), hits (32), runs (24), and stolen bases (10). During the summer, I play for our town's Legion baseball program, the Falls City Blue Storm. I play all over the field defensively, depending on who is pitching for our team. In one game last season, during my junior year, I played pitcher, shortstop, centerfield, and catcher all in the same game. Besides baseball, I am also the starting shooting guard for our varsity basketball team. Last year as a junior, I averaged almost 9 points per game and was voted on by my teammates as our team's Defensive Player of the Year. In football, I started at tight end and cornerback last year, and I will be our starting quarterback this fall. I take my academics seriously, where I am on the honor roll with a 4.0 GPA, I have currently scored a 22 on the ACT, and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I received Academic All-State for football, basketball, and baseball during my junior year. My baseball coach says that my biggest strength is that I am extremely coachable. I am always respectful and willing to listen to ideas on how to improve as a player. I am a confident leader and a great teammate who believes that communication is important when playing sports. I am always the last person to leave the field or the court after practice because I am constantly working on my game. I have loved playing sports my whole life, and I cannot wait to keep playing baseball at the next level.
