I am a life-long multi-sport athlete who has spent a great deal of my growing years committed to coaches, the gym, the field, the court and the weight room both in and out of season.
My first love is BASEBALL, but I've used and developed my athleticism through track, tennis and basketball as well. I would be grateful to have the opportunity to extend my participation beyond the high school level, as it has helped me grow and develop personally, spiritually as well as physically. My greatest life lessons have been a result of the experiences I've had as a student athlete. I am young for my class but am growing as I write this; therefore, I am positive that my post-secondary years will truly reveal some strong potential as an athlete. My character and work ethic has not only been molded through sports but also through my up-bringing on a farm in rural central Nebraska.
My goals as a senior this year are to finish strong both academically and athletically, help my teams to be the best we can be, and find a place to belong and continue my pursuit to be a baseball athlete and obtain a degree in the area of agriculture. Although I am from a rural area with limited opportunities for club and travel team participation or exposure, I believe in my skills and am confident I will find a good fit and will be a successful student-athlete if given the chance to prove myself.
