I am a good leader. I know the game of baseball very well. I know what to do no matter the situation, whether it is on the mound, at the plate, on the base paths, or on the field. I can play anywhere but I have primarily only played pitcher and shortstop. Defense is my best attribute to a baseball team, as I take great pride in my defense. I have great agility and arm strength to make any play on the field. I am a contact hitter who hits for a very high average and rarely strike out. I work the count very well as I am always confident to wait for my pitch until there is 2 strikes and I am always able to put the bat on the ball. I do hit for a little power, I get some doubles and triples here and there. On the mound I pitch many innings and strikeout a little over 2 an inning on average, In every game that I started in my Junior season I had at least 12 strike outs. My ERA was just under 1.50 and I had very few walks. I mix my pitches very well, I have a fastball, sinker, change up, curve, and slider, slider being my best pitch. I am also a very good base runner. At the plate I hit over .460 and my OBP was over .680. I was 18-20 on the year for stolen bases in 21 games. My focuses for getting better is being able to hit for more power and increasing my pitching velocity. My grades are good, but I plan to make them even better to make me a better candidate for a college and just to make me better as an overall person.
