Baseball is a huge part of my life. Since I was the age of seven, it has been the sport I have devoted the majority of my time to. My favorite position is catcher because I get to be a leader on the field and am involved in every play. I like using my experience to make my team stronger. Having devoted so much time and energy into my passion for baseball has made the sport a huge part of my life.
I grew up in Northern Nevada and I have been supported and encouraged by my family. Because there was not much baseball around me, I asked my parents to help me get into a year-round travel ball program when I turned twelve. We started traveling two hours twice each week to play baseball with the Nevada Scorpions in Reno. When I got to high school, we moved further away. I was still able to play with the Scorpions, but I had to practice and condition on my own. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of my parents and myself, I was still able to play at a high level in Reno.
I want to pursue my passion for baseball as well as gain a higher education. I plan to major in accounting or possibly another business-related program. My other goal is to play baseball at a college level. It's important to me to stay close to Nevada or Wisconsin so I can visit my family and they can come to games. I cannot wait to find a school that can help me have a full college experience in education and baseball. Thanks to the experience I have gained from playing, I can be a strong asset for your team.
