Jack Tiernan '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to continue being a successful student-athlete.  While I am not limiting myself in any way, my ultimate goal would be to play baseball collegiately.  I understand that hard work, morals, honesty and values are the foundation of a person.  I have been playing team sports my whole life and understand that no one person is above the team.  "A chain is only as good as it's weakest link" is so true, especially when it comes to team sports.  Team sports will help you prepare for the rest of your life, as most professions involve being part of a team.  Physical skill, while obviously important, is not everything when it comes to sports.  Mental strength and sometimes pure will, can sometimes propel you in front of others.  While I might not be the most physically imposing individual at this point in my life, I am determined to not make it an excuse for me to fail.  You will not ever second guess why you wanted me as part of your team!
