Kyle Knowsley '23 Recruiting Profile

Making the varsity team as a sophomore and starting, was one of the highlights of my high school experience, so far.  In a tournament playoff game for the varsity team, my coach brought me into a tough spot (bases loaded and 1 out) and I was able to get out of the jam with no runs scored.  One of my other highlights of baseball was in the summer of 2021, I had a great season in 18-u league even though I was 15 at the time.  Mostly though I feel I have grown the most as a student athlete when the pandemic took away my freshman season. That experience made my love for baseball grow more, It also made me focus on the game of baseball and re-focused my aspiration on playing college baseball.

I was very fortunate with how my coaches put me in a situation to succeed. I learned the value of being committed to a team being at Brick township. I've always been a great leader and amazing teammate, I never fail to encourage my team to stay in the game and never give up. I have a tremendous love for the game of baseball and I bring an intensity and energy to any game I play in. I wish to bring that energy to a program that will expand my knowledge both athletically and academically.
