My name is Nick Mirarchi. I am a 16 year old sophomore at Paul VI High School located in Haddonfield, New Jersey. My goals are to play baseball at the next level in college while furthering my education. I love watching and playing all types of sports, but baseball became my number one sport due to the strategy of the game. My primary position is catcher. At an early age, I liked the mental challenges the position requires. Being a catcher is more than just physical work. Every playrequires mental awareness, the ability to strategize quickly on the field and communicate with my teammates. Baseball has taught me to focus which helps me in the classroom. My parents have taught me to challenge myself in school because my grades are just as important as my performance on the field. In my opinion, my goals are straightforward. I want to play baseball, be part of a team and forge new friendships, further my education and graduate with a useful degree. With dedication and hard work, I will be able to accomplish my goals.
