Jordan Martins '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jordan Martins, I am a Junior middle infielder / outfielder at Edison High school class of ‘23. I am often commended for my role as a leader both on and off the field, constantly trying to motivate those around me. Having played baseball for 11+ years I’ve learned to adjust to different coaching styles and to apply criticism at game speed. My dream is to play collegiate baseball, regardless of the level. I feel that I have the drive and determination, as well as the work ethic needed to succeed. In the years prior, I played three sports; Football, baseball, and basketball, however, I felt that in the time I was playing those sports, I was missing out on the opportunity to hone my skills in the sport I truly loved, which is baseball.  Though baseball is important, education takes precedence over everything, I completed my freshman year with a 3.9 weighted GPA. Every day I am striving to better myself both on the field and in the classroom. From a young age, I was educated to go the extra mile and not to settle, that’s exactly what I do, and will continue to do. I have what it takes to play collegiate baseball, and I will continue to prove it until given the opportunity. In addition to my success as a player and a student, I am a young man of character and integrity and will be a great addition to your school and baseball team.
