My drive and passion for baseball has always pushed me further than my limits. Ever since I picked up a baseball, I fell in love with the game. Every time I step on the field, I learn new things about the game and myself as a person. Those lessons have led to the successes that I’ve had in the past, and the successes I will have in the future.
Throughout my experience as a baseball player, I have learned that nothing comes easy, and hard work, perseverance, and determination are the main factors towards success. With this mindset, I was able to start on my varsity baseball team as a freshman. From this experience, I learned that I can’t control failure, but what I can control is how I react to it. These values have caused me to not only pick myself up in failure, but my teammates and the people around me as well. My main goal is to always be a leader, a great teammate, and an asset to every team that I play for.
In the classroom, I currently maintain an unweighted gpa of 3.7, with the intent of improving it even further. In the future, I plan on pursuing a degree in physical therapy and becoming a doctor in physical therapy. Being a college student-athlete will allow me to accomplish my athletic goals while also achieving my academic goals. I want to be a part of a college atmosphere that is right for me, and also be a part of a solid baseball family, where I can challenge myself to be the best baseball player and teammate that I can possibly be.
