Jacob Dembin '21 Recruiting Profile

I continue to work hard academically and athletically towards achieving my goals on being accepted into college based on my academic achievements and athletic potential. I push myself in school by being part of the Medical Science Academy in High School. I had to apply to be accepted into this program based on grades, test scores, and teacher recommendations. The Medical Science Academy is limited to 50 students per year and the exclusive class offerings by the Academy are AP weighted. Athletically, I have always been part of baseball teams that strived to play the toughest competition in order to get better. In addition, I have always been part of a team, instead of being a guest player or part of an organization in which players barely know each other. Some of the players on my team and I have played baseball together since we were 9 years old or younger. I understand that I am fortunate to be the size I am and being left handed, but I never take it for granted and work hard everyday to become a better player, teammate, and student.
