Hello! My name is Julianna or Jewels, for short. I have been diving since 8th grade at clinics to get ready for my high school career in diving. I was a competitive gymnast since the age of six and I retired at age 14. I feel this gives me the edge for diving because I have always been taught to perfect my form, with gymnastics. In my off season I continue to train to keep fit with speed and agility classes at a local sports gym. I often frequent a local gym to practice my tumbling for dives. I also compete in track and field. My specialties are pole vault and long jump. I am dedicated and eager to learn new dives and perfect my old ones. I am a work in progress, but learn quickly . Where I live we do not have any dive clubs close ( within an hour and 1/2). I work hard with other divers in the summer at the private pool I lifeguard for. I work hard because, of course, I want to be the best for my coach, my team and myself. I have recently become a gymnastics coach at Bright Stars Gymnastics Academy. I tumble regularly to keep in shape and improve my form for the upcoming dive season. I am hoping to complete a degree in Marine Biology to go and work with marine life and preservation. I would love for you to consider me for you team and I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your time,
Jewels
