My name is Michael Racobaldo. I am 6'5" and weigh 190 pounds. I am beginning my Junior year of high school and I am excited for what's to come.
I have always loved the game of baseball. I also enjoy playing for the varsity basketball team at my high school. Baseball is in my "blood" you could say and I come from a long line a talented baseball players. This spring season alone I have logged over 300 practice hours and our High School team recently won the state championship for the second year in a row. I love pitching...hitting...and playing first base. My fastball topped at 87 mph this so I am so excited to see what this year will bring for me. I have always been a strong bat in the lineup, typically holding the 4th batter position.
This summer I focused on attending tournaments and showcase events, including I95 Metro Series in Trenton, NJ and the PBR Future Games in NJ. There were over 200 athletes present at the Metro Series event. I was identified as one of the 5% there as being a D1 Scholarship Player / Potential Draft Prospect. At the two Metro Series events (one in NY and one in NJ) there were 400+ athletes. Of the 400, I was ranked 4th in exit velocity. In the Future Games event, the Top 20 pitchers were identified. 13 were 2019 grads and 7 were 2020 grads. I am proud to say I was one of the 2020 grads. This summer was an exciting one and I am looking forward to see what Junior year has in store for me.
I plan to continue to focus on my academics this year. I am looking forward to college and can't wait to play at the next level.
