My name is Joshua Torres and I am class of 2022 and will be graduating from John F Kennedy Memorial High School in Iselin, New Jersey.  I’ve grown up with baseball in my life and I continue to take the necessary steps to improve as a player and a person.  I have played multiple positions, but I am now set on being the best outfielder.   I have set goals as a player and a student in order to reach my full potential at every level.   I’ve strived not only to become better each practice, but I also try to motivate others to reach the best of their ability for the team. I use my strengths on and off the field and continue to improve on my weaknesses. The same mind set I have for baseball has been applied to my academics. I continue to set goals to work hard academically and find the classes that best suit me as a person.  I play with determination and confidence and I apply both characteristics into being a student athlete.
