Christian Yoo '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christian Yoo and I am currently a Junior at Robbinsville High School. Since my Freshman year of high school, I have been playing baseball at the Varsity level. I also play for my travel team, Sportika Baseball Academy 2023. My goal has always been to play baseball at the collegiate level and to play for a school that challenges me both academically and athletically. The game of baseball has been a passion of mine since the age of seven and I plan on playing for as long as I can. 

I am hard-working, very competitive, and a coachable player that never lets my emotions get the best of me. Offensively, I am an aggressive hitter who is not afraid to swing the bat. I have quick hands at the plate and can adjust to an off-speed when pitched. Defensively, I have advanced footwork and hands that help me in the infield which is complemented by my strong arm.  Additionally, I have l been told that l have a very high "baseball IQ",  meaning I will think outside the ordinary fundamentals to take the opportunity if there is one. 

Currently, I have a 3.98 GPA and have made the Honor Roll and Principal's Honor Roll every year since Middle School. I make sure to maintain good grades and balance my school work and athletics to become the best I can be. I have also volunteered at many events and I plan on volunteering as much as I can to help out the community.
