Hello, my name is Isaiah Koehler. I am a class of 2023 middle infielder from Union City, NJ. My goal in college is to play at a program that demands the best from me, not just athletically, but academically as well. I pride myself on giving 110 percent on and off the field, and I am always supportive and helpful to my teammates as well. I love to compete and will never back down from any situation.
Going into my freshman year, I was very eager to start my high school career. I made the the JV team as a freshman, but then Covid pandemic happened and they cancelled the whole season. When I returned the next year to play I was beyond grateful and became more focused and dedicated. I learned a lesson that like most things in life, baseball can be taken away from me in the blink of an eye.
This past season, I was chosen an All County All Star and was invited to play in the 2022 NJ Quad County All Star game. I was honored and humbled, and felt that the hard work I had put in was being noticed and paying off!
I feel I am definitely ready to play at the next level and feel I can be an asset to a baseball program and coach that believes in me.
