Personal Statement

I'm currently a 6’0", 185 pound, R/R middle infielder and a member of the Class of 2016 at Westfield High School in NJ where I have a 4.08 GPA.  I take school and baseball very seriously and I want to attend a strong academic school with a good baseball program.  I'm hard working and dedicated both on and off the field.  I consider myself a leader and I lead by example.  I'm very competitive and will do whatever it takes to help my team win.   I love the game of baseball and look forward to continuing my career in college.

  • Named to Top Prospect List. Writes ups from Perfect Game: ""The rising senior was one of the best defenders on the field for either team, showing smooth actions with clean hands at SS with an above-average arm. Very athletic overall prospect who flashes hitting tools as well." "Rinaldi began his showcase by showing some of the better arm strength across the infield with an 86 mph throw and did so with a relatively easy arm action. With the bat the right-handed hitting Rinaldi showed quick hands with hard and consistent contact coming off the barrel." "Chris Rinaldi (2016 SS, Westfield, NJ): uses his strength well to produce hard jump off the barrel from the right side. Generating very solid bat speed, Rinaldi created consistent contact while employing quick hands which allow the barrel to get to the ball quickly in the zone."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
