My name is Price Preuit. I attend Portales High School in Portales, New Mexico. I am currently a junior, class of 2021. I take pride in both academics and baseball. However, academics is the most important part of my future. I take AP classes and also college courses. I have a cummulative GPA of 4.33. I have won numerous awards at my school like Scholar Athlete. Also, I have been inducted into the National Honors Society and I am very proud of this accomplishment.
Alongside striving to be a great student, I strive to be an outstanding citizen. I have done numerous voluntary community service jobs like participating in a toy drives, cleaning up highways and alleys, painting dumpsters, maintainance on the local little league fields, and painting the city pool locker rooms. I believe that being a good citizen can produce many rewards and positive outcomes in my life. One reward I have recieved for being a good citizen is a nomination for the American Legion Award.
I have had many great memories playing baseball throughout my little league and high school, and travel teams. My favorite memory from little league was getting the opportunity to play with the Roosevelt County Little League 50/70 all star team and getting a chance to compete at the Little League Southwest Regional Tournament in Grand Junction, Colorado. In high school, my favorite memory was making it to the semi-finals in the state tournament when I was a freshman. That little taste of the playoffs has only made me more hungry to win championships. I am very blessed to have the teammates I have and I look forward to winning championships with them. I am also very appreciative of all the coaches I have worked with to this point. Also, I cannot thank Lubbock Baseball Academy and it's staff enough for the opportunities and upcoming opportunities that they have given me in the game of baseball. I look forward to hopefully meeting new teammates and coaches in the future and helping a college program win championships.
