Baseball’s a huge part of my life and is something that I would love to pursue in college. I don’t just love baseball in itself as I’ve learned to love everything that comes along with it. That includes the competitiveness of the sport, the relationships built through the game, and the constant grind to get better.
I have been playing competitive baseball since I was 9 and I’m on one of the top high school teams in New Mexico. This has taught me the importance of always striving to be better and work hard to improve my game and get bigger, faster and stronger. In a way, I already understand what a college environment will be like in which a spot isn’t given but earned.
I am easy to get along with and have enjoyed playing with many different people. My work ethic has helped me to stay competitive on the field and in the classroom. I currently have a cumulative 3.9 GPA and am taking multiple AP classes.
I am looking forward to finding a school that will provide a well rounded college experience consisting of a great education and the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love.
