Personal Statement

Being a Native-American member of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso I have not had many financial opportunities. Knowing that where I come from not many people are successful. I fully understand it will take a lot of dedication and hard work to succeed but I know I can do it. That is why I would love to have a chance at fulfilling my dream of playing college baseball as well as knowing that I can and will earn a four year college degree. I feel I would be a great candidate for your team because I will be hardworking, coachable and will always give 110% at whatever I do both academically and athletically. I feel I would be a good teammate because I will encourage my teammates to give their best at whatever they’re doing as well as helping them with whatever they may need.

Tse-Whang is a class of 2022 1B/OF. He shows off a large frame with strength and athleticism to continue to be added. In the outfield, he does a good job getting reads off the bat and taking his first step back. Does a good job playing through the baseball and creates angles to the ball. Does a good job keeping his momentum to throw. In the infield, he does a good job picking out hops. Shows good pre-pitch actions and works through the ball. Shows good bag awareness on double plays. At the plate, he hits to all fields. Shows a good barrel angle. Tracks well into the zone and shows a line drive approach. Tse-Whang is a good player that we hope to see continue to develop.
