Personal Statement
Hello, My name is Brian Kice, I am a freshman at Santa Fe Prep in Santa Fe, NM. I have been playing baseball for 10 years now, and wish to reach a higher level of play in the future. I have a disability called Cerebral Palsy, or CP. This was caused by a stroke that I suffered in my mother's stomach before I was born. The effects of CP are loss in dexterity and tightness of the muscles on a particular side of the body. For me, it is my right side. Despite that, I have played 2 years of Varsity ball with my high school team. I posted a 2.31 ERA in 15 appearances last year as an 8th grader. I hope to play baseball at a collegiate level or higher or get a degree in broadcast journalism. My GPA is a 3.4.
