From being a part of this game since the age of 3, I have gained leadership skills, responsibility, knowledge of the game of baseball, and unforgettable memories I would not trade for anything in this world. When I was 3 years old my family moved to the Dominican Republic. Growing up and playing in the Dominican Republic helped me to not only develop my skills but also to get the experience of playing in another country where baseball is the way out for many people. Most of my life I grew up and played with kids who came from poverty and that helped me mature my mindset more quickly than others. I'm always that teammate that's picking up others when they are down and putting a smile on their face because to me the most important thing is having fun.

Seeing my older brother, cousin, and dad play as a little kid gave me interest to play baseball. Ever since I started playing I fell in love and never looked back. My academic goals for both high school and college are to be the best student I can be and to portray the best image of myself. To get to where I am at today I had to go through obstacles, such as pain and criticism. Everyday I fight through pain and unfortunate situations I have to go through in my life. What differentiates me from others is my leadership, attitude, and hard work. Ever since my freshman year of high school I've been setting the example for others as a leader, as I played varsity baseball. I'm used to being the underdog because I've been the underdog my whole life. From going through programs who win and others with a losing environment, I have helped them win. This why I know I can help change and make your program more successful.
