Suraj Khakee '20 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing competitive baseball for almost 10 years now, and continue working towards the goal of playing at the collegiate level. While my decision on what college I attend will take academics into great consideration, I've always been intent on playing the sport that I love wherever I go. 

As a teammate, I've always been able to lead when necessary and take a backseat when that is what is best for the team. I was a team leader for my high school varsity team this past Spring and have been named co-captain for next Spring, which is a great honor that I know will require a lot of work. On my high school team, I was playing with mostly older kids, so I was more focused on doing my job and producing than taking on that leadership role, as there were others that were helping me along the way and showing me what I needed to do to take on that role in the future.
