Hello Coaches,
My goal is to not only make a college team, but to start and help lead my team to a Championship level within my 4 years at the school. I feel I am different from other recruits due to the below qualities:
Leadership Skills - Coaches named me Team Captain and I helped lead us to the City Finals in High School as a 5th seeded team. I received the Coaches' Award for Production and Leadership for my efforts in the 2018 Season. I am also Captain of my travel team, the NY Prospects.
Academics - 4.0 GPA - Honors Program and I am a proud member of the National Honor Society.
Character - I received the Award for High Character at MS51 out of a graduating class of 450 students.
Athletics - Middle of the lineup power bat with an excellent glove (.976 Fielding % in '18).
Hard Work and Discipline - I am a strong-willed person. My GPA shows that and I transformed my body from being 226 lbs to 195 lbs in one summer.
For these reasons I feel I am an ideal candidate for your program.
