My goal is to receive an enriching college education as I envision these years will be a period of personal growth and achievement. I believe myself to be a hardworking student and a disciplined athlete. I recognize the importance of my academic studies because in many ways, they have afforded me endless opportunities to better myself both in and out of school. When I strive to accomplish something, I see my task through until the very end, even when obstacles present themselves. There are times when people underestimate my ability but this only inspires me to work harder and prove them wrong. Therefore, I plan to be an energetic player and assert a positive influence on my fellow teammates. As I grow during my collegiate sports career, I will always continue to strive to be an effective asset to my team and, most importantly, conduct myself with respect both on and off the field. I acknowledge that the way I carry myself greatly reflects on my team and my own character and I can assure you I will not dismiss the opportunity to represent my college in the highest respect.
