My name is Matthew Helmer Jr I am currently a Jr at Remsen Jr Sr High School in upstate NY where I currently hold and maintain a 3.9 GPA in my academic studies and wish to continue my studies at the college level to become a civil engineer, I am a 2 sport Varsity athlete, I play Baseball and Basketball but Baseball is my passion, my dream is to be an asset on a college team so I can continue to grow myself as a student and athlete, I am a hard worker on and off the field I put my all into everything I do all year long whether it be with school studies maintaining my grades and working harder for even better ones, training in the gym so I can be in my best physical shape at all times, off season private lessons with my instructor Doug Delett at the Utica Blue Sox Academy where I work on myself as a baseball player in a whole whether it be switch hitting or pitching and even field work, I will continue to stride daily to becoming the college athlete and positive addition to a team I have always dreamed of being. I will be playing my Junior year of Varsity Baseball on Holland Patent Varsity Baseballs team for my 2024 season and continuing on my summer legion with the Utica Jr Blue Sox.
