Some very big influences in my life are first off God and how He has helped me through my struggles. Next is my parents and family and how they have helped me to become the person I am today. Lastly, my coaches and teachers have taught me and challenged me how to become better at whatever is before me. I started to become interested and get more serious about baseball when I was about ten years old. I have learned from playing baseball that it’s a team sport, I can’t do it on my own, and I need to depend on the other people to do their job as they depend on me to do my job and do it correctly. Also, I have learned to look for areas I can improve in my game to help the team.
Some of my academic goals for high school are to be on the A honor roll and to take as many advanced dual credit classes as I can. I also want to get high ACT and SAT scores. For college, I want to be in the classes that will help me succeed in the future at my career. Some obstacles that I have had to face to be where I am now is to come back from an injury like a broken finger, and to battle out for the first base position with two other good players. Some unique characteristic I have are that I have a teachable heart, the ability to juggle, and the musical ability to play two interments, the trumpet and guitar. I am looking for a college that best fits me and advances my future.
