My love of the game of baseball started before I could even walk. My first steps I took were to grab a baseball from my Grandma. Since that moment, I knew what my future goals would include. One of the goals is to play baseball at the collegiate level. My brother, who is nine years older than me, introduced me to the game when I was three years old. For most of my life, my brother has been my biggest role model and makes me want to strive to do better for myself. My brother set the tone for my future goals by being the first one in our family to pursue college athletics. I want to strive to surpass what my brother has done and set the bar higher for future baseball players in my family.
I know there are a plethora of athletes that are striving for the same goal as me. However, what makes me stand out from the rest of the recruits of 2023 is that I am always trying to make myself better day in and day out. I always make sure I am doing well in the classroom. My academics have always been important to me and are my first priority. The major I would like to study is Electrical Engineering. Being a student-athlete is the most important thing to me. It is beneficial for the future because it offers the ability to further my academic career while also striving to be the best player I can be in the sport I love, baseball.
