Hello, my name is Zade Fusselman. I have attended Canal Winchester Schools starting as a kindergartener and now ready to start my senior year. I just celebrated my 18th birthday on July 20th, and I've been very busy playing ball and attending showcases. I am 6'1 and 175lbs. and described as an athletic build. I am a right-handed thrower and hitter who has worked hard in the gym along with speed and agility training to compliment my baseball passion. I come from a very active family who enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors. Whether it is biking, hiking, or fishing we enjoy being outside when we can. I did get roped into a couple of Netflix Series during Covid and also enjoyed that change of pace. The pandemic has not slowed me down. When the gym's closed, I was fortunate enough to have a family member who gave me a bar and weight bench that had been in her basement. I setup in our garage and continued working out. I focused on my grades and adjusted to the new way of life. I have played baseball since I was 6 years old, growing up with a great group of friends who most are still playing baseball. I have had pitching and hitting lessons for many years, learning proper form to allow me to be healthy and prevent injuries. I have had many coaches and effortlessly adapted to many coaching styles over the years. I have gained something from each and every one of them and appreciate the life lessons that I learned along the way. Self-awareness is my focus right now and I have made huge strides in the last year. Grades were an area that I wanted to improve in. I ended up trying a tutor and I have to admit, I wish I would have done this sooner. I learned new ways of studying and getting organized that will help me for the rest of high school, college and even life. I look at tutoring now as another coach, a person with a strength in an area that I can learn and grow from. I want to be a sponge and described repeatedly as easily coachable. In conclusion, once you see my stats, you will know that I am a dedicated player who will work hard on and off the field. I want to be successful in baseball, I want to pursue a career in the health field , and I ready and willing to put in the time and effort.
Respectfully,
Zade Fusselman
