January 2019Personal Statement
As an aspiring college student-athlete, I plan to graduate with a degree in area of science. I am equally focused on striving to maintain high academic success, as well as improving my skills in baseball. My leadership skills are evident in my participation in the Men Organized Respectful and Educated (MORE) Program as a program leader. I also represent my school as a Student Athlete Leader (SALT), and have been a member for three years. I have utilized my interest in science and math through the Cincinnati STEMulates enrichment program as well. I have mentored young kids, teaching them about the game of basketball and baseball. I am also the assistant to the Sunday School Superintendent at my church, a member of Jr. Usher Board and I have been the Team Captain of my high school baseball team for two years. I have good work ethic and drive to improve myself daily.
