Maxwell Mullen '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Max Mullen and I am a 2023 grad who would absolutely love to play college baseball. I am very passionate about baseball but haven’t always been.   There was a time in my life when I didn’t have any idea what I wanted to do, but baseball found me and I’ve been devoted ever since. I love the mental aspect of the game, as the limitless possibilities in the sport fascinates me. On the field, I would consider myself calm under pressure, understanding of any situation, and overall a leader who’s calm mindset can help other players elevate their game. I am considered a leader by many of my teammates both in travel ball and school ball, and have been captain of many of my sports teams, not only in baseball but also on my former basketball team. Off the field, I focus very hard on my academics, especially in math and science where I put a lot of effort. I also do many extracurriculars such as choir, chess club, and intramural sports. I am looking for a school who suits me not only athletically, but academically, as I would like to further study some sort of science whether it be biology, chemistry, or psychology at any school big or small.  I prefer to stay in the Midwest, where my  whole family lives. Overall, I’m ready to engage in the recruiting process and am excited for what the future holds for me not only as an athlete but as a person.
