I have been playing baseball since I was three years old, and have always had a passion for the game. However, it wasn’t until I turned thirteen that I realized that playing baseball in college was a real possibility. Since that time, I have dedicated my free time to improving my physical condition by working out at No Name Athletics and improving my baseball skills by working with both a private pitching and hitting/fielding coach. This is in addition to the work that I have put in with my high school team and summer travel team. I have also maintained a 3.7 GPA in high school, while taking several college credit courses through Edison State Community College.
There are several goals that I hope to achieve while playing baseball in college. The first is to obtain a degree in a healthcare related field that will allow me to go into a Physician’s Assistant program. I also hope to be an excellent contributor to the team's success on the field and hope that this experience will help me grow personally and professionally.
One of my biggest strengths has always been my team first mentality where I am willing to sacrifice personal stats for team success. I enjoy receiving feedback (positive or negative) and instruction from all of my coaches and look for ways that I can improve my skills as a baseball player to help my team succeed. I have been surrounded by coaches who have an old school approach as well as a new school approach to baseball, which I believe has made me a well rounded person and ball player.
If you are looking for a player who is serious about their academics, has a team first mentality, and respects all aspects of the game of baseball, then look no further. I’m your guy!!
