Mason Ball '21 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, I'm Mason Ball and I have lived in Oxford Ohio my whole life, just north of Cincinnati. I am a freshman at Talawanda High School and currently carry a 3.8 GPA. Ever since elementary school my family  has always pushed me to do my best in school, the lowest letter grade I have ever received on a report card is a B.  I first started playing baseball when I was five years old for the local little league and have played ever since. One of my best memories of my baseball career was during little league. In the 2014 10u District championship I pitched five shutout innings against Hamilton West Side to give us a birth into the state tournament. Hamilton had accomplished this every year for about 20 years except once in 2006. Yes you may not care about this considering the fact that I was ten, but it is something that I will never forget and figured that it was worth sharing.  The past few years, I have played travel ball and my coaches have referred to me as a great leader. This is one way that I think I can help out your program, I always do my best to work harder than anyone else and I am always there for my teammates. If you ask any of my coaches, they will always say that I am a very humble player, I never let my emotions get ahead of me on the field no matter the circumstances.  I am starting high school baseball this year and hope it'll be a great four years. My ultimate goal is to go to college to play baseball and hopefully make it professionally, if that doesn't work out I'd like to try to get a Bachelor's degree and teach math.  To whomever is reading this, thank you for your time and I'd love the chance to play college baseball at your school.
