My first and most important goal is to obtain a degree in either mechanical or biomedical engineering. At the same time I want to prove to myself and many of those that doubted me over the years that I can play baseball at the collegiate level. It would be fair to say that I have a chip on my shoulder, but that has only motivated me to get better. I very much appreciate my summer ball coach taking a chance on me and giving me the opportunities to succeed and to fail, but to learn from those instances that didn’t go my way. If not for him, I would not be in this position to potentially play college baseball. My cross country coach taught me how to be a leader to the underclassmen and showing me the value of practicing hard. Finally, I appreciate my parents for all they have done for me.
