Tyler Hilbert '20 Recruiting Profile

I began playing baseball at age 3, and ever since the glove leather hit my palm I have had an unwavering love for the game. Growing up my father played collegiate baseball, and he has passed on all of his knowledge, passion, and love for the game to me. 

In my high school baseball program, the words believe, and compete are preached. I have taken these words to heart, allowing myself to become a fierce competitor on both the field, and in the classroom. This has allowed me to set very high goals for myself academically and athletically. Through service to both my mother while she was ill, and service in the community, I have learned many other valuable skills. These skills being leadership, work ethic, and consideration for others. So, with my competitiveness, work ethic, and leadership skills, I feel I can make an immediate impact on your team.
