Hard work and discipline are what motivate me. I feel if you you have those two components in your daily life everything else will fall into place. I take pride in the fact that I’ve had to work for everything, nothing was handed to me. Maintaining a good GPA in the classrooms are necessary for me to accomplish my goals whether on the football field or the baseball diamond. With that said my teammates always come first. I’m not vocal leader but I’d like to think that my work ethic and positive attitude show younger players the routes you need to take to be successful. For example, I’ve been a catcher my whole life, but due to unforeseen circumstances of another player I changed positions and went to the outfield Not because I wanted to but to help my team. I enjoyed the change and it also added another tool to my game.
I’ve been playing both football and baseball since the little league levels. Sports have been a constant part of my life since I was child. I can’t remember a time that I wasn’t involved in playing a sport. I like the grind of a hard practice and I love competing against the best you’ve got. I take pride in preparing for success, I want to win, I want my teams to flourish and shine. And I would love the opportunity to continue the love of the game at the next level.
