Alek Stonerock '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alek Stonerock, I am 6 ft. 4 inches, weigh 245 pounds, and run a 8.0 in the sixty yard dash. I play for the Westfall High School Varsity Team. I started on the Varsity Team as a freshman at first base I also, pitched some that year. My team and I went 24 - 7 during that season. We also made it to the regional semi-finals. I will have four years of experience starting first base on a varsity team. At the completion of my freshman year on the varsity team I received Second Team all SVC, Honorable Mention all District, sophomore year, I received First Team All SVC, First Team All District, junior year I received First Team All SVC, First Team All District and Honorable Mention All State. I can offer to any team, a player with the drive to be the best I can possibly be. I am easily coachable, I am a very hard working player, working hard at practice, and giving it all on the field. I have always dreamed of playing college baseball, to become a great role model to all my peers and to make my parents proud. I want to play as a freshman in college, but I also want to play at the highest level of competition. I am devoted to continuous improvement and trying to get where I want to be. My goal is to make an impact on any team I am selected to be part of no matter where or who that team may be.
