Zachary Justice '23 Recruiting Profile

I see my college years as a chance to grow and mature in all aspects of my academic, athletic, and personal life.  I have strived to do my best, both in athletics as well as academics and have always taken as much pride in my schoolwork as any of my athletic achievements.

My academic goal is to work towards a business degree that will allow me to foster a career in the financial services industry.  On the field, my goal is to be a dynamic player that is always striving to get better each day.  My detailed and consistent work-ethic will be a positive influence on my teammates.  My goal is to be a team captain at some point in my college career and be able to influence and lead my teammates to maintain a "winning" attitude and atmosphere on and off the field.  As a catcher, I see myself as a natural leader on the baseball field and have always had the ability to lead my teammates through challenging situations.

I believe that hard work on a daily basis pays off.  I am not trying to be the best, I am just trying to be better than I was the day before and lead by example.  I believe that I can take this attitude to a college/university and be that positive influence on-campus and on-the-field.  I have demonstrated these abilities in my past experiences and welcome the opportunity to showcase them, academically and athletically, at a 4 year college in the near future.
