Hi, Im Caleb. My goals as a highschool baseball player is to play next level ball with a school that is meant for me. I am continuing to strive everyday to be better as a play and an individual. One of my biggest goals is to play division I baseball. I think that I am a perfect for your team amoung other players and prospects in my class not just because I am a decent ball player but because I am a leader. This year (2019-2020) I was elected as Class president for my class and Avid Ambassador. I will do anything and everything to ensure the success of my peers and teammates. Leadership plays a major role in who i am as a person. From encouraging my team to get better, to stepping up to a challenge. Rain or shine, win or lose, I will be there for my team no matter what. There is nothing more important on a team than having a bond with your teammates. Athletically, I consider myself "above average" for my graduating class. As of my freshman year playing baseball for the Jefferson Lions, located in Jefferson Oregon, I won 2nd all league catcher. I just barely missed it to two seniors from the highest ranked teams in our league. This does not stunt my confidence to become better. Within team awards, i won most improved. I like to also consider myself easily coachable. i am always open to new strategies and ideas. Academically, I am a Honor-Roll student at Jefferson High School.( 3.5 Gpa or above) Ive came a long way from being a kid begging teachers to grade my work so i can play ball with a 1.8 gpa to earning an honor roll spot and working to improve daily. I would hope that after reading this that you take into consideration on how good of an addition i would be to your team. Feel free to reach out to me via text, call, or email. Thank you for your time!
