Shane Groth '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0, 192 lb. RHP/3B from Sisters, Oregon and I currently attend Ranger College in Texas. In high school I attended Sisters High School, Class of 2012. I was a four year varsity player for the outlaws, and recived all-league awards three of those years. As a senior I was named MVP of the team, as well as team Pitching Ace. I also was awarded 1st team sky- em all-league pitcher, sky-em pitcher of the year, and 1st team all state pitcher. I also attended the all-star game this year, and was named south's most outstanding pitcher. As a junior I was name team Pitching Ace, 1st team sky-em all league pitcher, and 3rd team all state pitcher. My Sophomore year I was named team Pitching Ace and 2nd team sky-em all league pitcher. Now that I have finished my high school career, I am very anxious to pursue a great college career. I look forward to the leap in competition all around the sport. Not only in the games, but the competition between your teammates to better you everyday. I am excited to become the best baseball player i can become, and am willing to work for it. I am looking for a school that wants to push me to be better and can see my full potential. A team that is mistaked for a family. And a great college atmosphere. Somewhere where baseball is life. side note: I was also a Quarterback/linebacker on the Sisters Varsity Football team. i was honored as a team Captain, as well as 1st team all league linebacker, and team MVP my senior year. My junior year i was team most valuable linebacker, as well and defensive captain and 2nd team all league linebacker.
