I started playing baseball when I was 5. When I started I absolutely loved the sport, everything about it and it remains the same till this day. The best moment in my baseball career was when my JBO team won the 2014 Oregon State Championship. Playing in the championship made me realize how much more I can do in baseball.
Baseball helped me when my family and I moved half way across the world to Qatar. Baseball was the one thing that remained the same during this time. Having baseball in my life has helped me to overcome challenges of moving half way across the world and everything I left behind in the States.
I have mostly taught myself to be a pitcher. I had private lessons for about a year when I was 10-11 years old and before moving to Qatar. After that I have done a little online correspondence with pitching coaches via video analysis. However, I am mostly self taught. I know that I have left to learn. I work hard in getting drills down and continuing to learn all that I can about the game.
I am looking to attend college in the southern region. I prefer warm weather over the cold. I want to major in criminology or something in the medical field. I want to be apart of a college team that can push me to improve myself on the field and in the classroom. I am very teachable and responsive to training. I love learning new skills that can improve my pitching mechanics, control and command . When I am not on the mound I make an excellent utility player.
