My name is Joey Current. I am a 6'0, 190 lb. Catcher/3B from Denver, Pennsylvania. I am currently a senior at Cocalico High School, where I hold a 3.1 GPA. I play on my high school varsity team as well as my travel team Bluerocks Baseball. My plan after high school is to continue my baseball career at the collegiate level. I am looking for a school where I can utilize my abilities, play great competitive baseball but also challenges me academically.
I am very goal oriented and I always put in the hard work to attain my goals. I am willing to go above and beyond to continue to make myself better. I am enrolled in the Parisi Speed School where I work on speed and agility, change of direction, strength training and much more. I am a true leader both on and off the baseball field. I respect and appreciate my coaches, mentors and peers, and I always have a good attitude.
I believe I would be a great candidate for your team because I value hard work, determination and dedication to be a great baseball player. I will always give 110% to be successful, not only for myself but for my team as well.
