Something that I think is very important to the way I play the game is my ability to use all parts of the field, when it comes to hitting. On defense, I can play anywhere, whether it's from catcher to second base, I have played every position on the diamond and feel comfortable playing them in any situation during the game.
Running the bases is one of my favorite ways to play the game, because there is so many things a walk can lead to a game winning run. I run the bases like a "controlled maniac" and try to take the next bag every chance I see.
If there were to be one word to describe me, it would be gritty; through the toughest stretches I still try to find a way and contribute.
My name is Jack Nugent and baseball is a lot of fun to play.
