I am entering my junior year and am in the class of 2022. I started baseball just like most kids, playing t-ball. My twin sister and I actually played on the same team! Since then I’ve played a few other sports including basketball, soccer, and wrestling. I still wrestle for my high school.
Baseball has always been the one sport that I have gravitated to and is the one in which I have been most committed. Throughout my baseball career, I have played CYO baseball, American Legion, Middle School, Club Baseball, and High School Varsity. I found that I was playing all of the positions around the diamond. However, around middle school, when I started playing club baseball, I had settled comfortably into the outfield.
Baseball has taught me a lot throughout my life. I learned about putting the team before self, the value of hard work, and skills that I could use for a lifetime. Outside of the game, I like to weight train, watch baseball, and work at my job.
Academically speaking, I’ve always enjoyed school which has helped me to keep a 4.0 GPA. I am in the National Honor Society and Student Council. Past high school, I’m looking forward to college, and I would like to major in computer science or mathematics.
